Llegamos al final de agosto y Netflix anuncia sus estrenos para el mes de septiembre. Su fuerte durante el mes son sus series ya que estrena la quinta temporada para The Walking Dead y el comienzo de la serie Gotham. Entre los estrenos en películas se encuentra The Loft y Philomena.
Una mala noticia es que es confirmado que Netflix no decidió renovar su contrato con Epix, perdiendo una gran variedad de películas de las compañías Paramount, Lionsgate y MGM. La razón que se debe es debido a que Netflix desea invertir en programación original como el acuerdo que hicieron con Adam Sandler.
Entre los títulos que no van a estar más se encuentran las películas de Hunger Games, Star Trek: Into Darkness, World War Z y Transformers.
